Story Behind the "Backstory"
My photographs come with a "Backstory," which is laminated and affixed to the backing of the framed image. This is literally the story behind the picture, the "who, what, when, where and how's" associated with the photograph. Backstory will be provided with all images ordered, regardless of the layout format chosen.
Point of Departure Backstory
For years I’d carry my cameras everywhere, always looking for a good shot. This image was the one time it paid off. It was taken on the old Biloxi, Popps Ferry causeway. I saw the old man packing his boat, preparing to leave. I had a fresh roll of 36 exp. Kotachrome in the camera and when he pushed off and headed out, I exposed the entire roll. This was the best of the thirty-six exposures.
